This year’s award winning projects were unveiled tonight before hundreds of industry leaders at the prestigious awards ceremony held at the Hamilton Island Convention Centre.

The HIA-CSR Australian Housing Awards are the ultimate platform to showcase the talents of the nation’s top builders and designers. Winners are selected from state-based finalists, with awards in 21 separate categories.
The Australian Spec Home awards, partnered by Stratco Australia, recognises an individual house that is not built to a client’s brief.

Averna Homes have built a modern and ‘street-smart’ home which cleverly balances dark and light tones with its crafted timbers and distinctive renders.

Judger commented on “the amount of thought given to material selection and how well they complemented each other.”
HIA Western Australia Executive Director John Gelavis said the HIA-CSR Australian Housing Awards program is unsurpassed in the residential building industry.

“Well done and congratulations to all of our award winners and finalists for your unequalled dedication to creating award winning projects.” Mr Gelavis said. “Each year the benchmark is set to the highest level of workmanship and excellence in modern design and building.”

HIA is Australia’s peak building industry body representing more than 40,000 builders, suppliers and contractors involved in residential construction.

Judged by industry professionals, the awards acknowledge the talent of builders, designers and building companies who plan to construct quality new housing, apartments, renovations, kitchens and bathrooms.
